Add Collaborators to build your team

You can make a MAD-learn app all by yourself, or as a team. You could add your friends or teammates as collaborators on an app and work together.  


On the App details pop-up, app creator could add collaborator from within the school or from other schools.

  • Add collaborators within school

  • Add collaborators from other schools


Add collaborators from other schools:


  • If a user is not allowed to collaborate with other schools or is not a part of the global collaborator group and user clicks on this card then he/she will be redirected to the KB doc in a new tab providing the essential information. Check here - https://support.mad-learn.com/portal/kb/articles/collaboration-with-other-schools

  • If user is allowed to collaborate with other schools or is part of the global collaborator group and clicks on this card then he/she will be presented with the Collaboration list of other schools to add them as a collaborator on App or on Mind Map


Add collaborator within school


  • If user clicks on this option then he/she will be presented with the collaboration list within the school to add them as a collaborator on App or Mind Map

User will have a toggle option to switch between the ‘Within school’ and ‘Other school’ collaborator available collaborator list.

When a user selects the ‘Within school’ in toggle option then the list of available collaborator within the school will be available for a user to add and when user switch to ‘Other schools’ then they will be presented with global collaborator user list.


When app creator clicks any user in the available collaboration list then the user will be added as a collaborator for the app.6a-New-MM-Popup.png

Added collaborator list visible to the user will have styled applied based on the toggle selection.

So, if a user has selected the ‘Within school’ toggle option then all user added from within school will be styled in selected toggle style and other school collaborator added will be styled in non-selective toggle state and vice versa.

Remove Collaborator

User can remove any collaborator from the collaborator list by clicking on the cross-sign in front of there name. Once a user has been removed from the collaboration list then the user will be added to below available collaboration list.

Manage Collaborator

User can add and remove the collaborator within an existing app by clicking the ‘Settings’ icon on the top-right corner. Select ‘Manage Collaborator’ in the list and this will allow managing collaborator effectively.
